Skipton area digital companies

This is a very 'naive' (and static for now) way of visualising the number of companies in the Skipton area who work in or near digital. It's based on SIC codes 62 (Computer programming, consultancy and related activities) and 63 (Information service activities) from Companies House data.

When I first moved to Skipton, I was surprised by how many companies there were in the area who work in or near digital. I wanted to see if there were any clusters of companies and where they were located. This is a first attempt at visualising that data.

It's not perfect, and there are likely to be many companies missing from this map, but it's a start. If you know of any companies that should be added to this map, please let us know. Equally, if you notice any inaccuracies, we'd appreciate your feedback.

Inclusion, or exclusion, from this map is not an endorsement or judgement of any company, nor does it mean they're involved in skipton.digital activities. It's simply a visual representation of the data based on the SIC codes mentioned above. There are definitely companies with a large digital component whose primary business is something else - I've yet to add these to the map!
